Skills Immigration Registration System (SIRS)
The Skills Immigration Registration System (SIRS), is similar to the Express Entry System. Introduced in the year 2016, this is system was designed to help the Government of BC evaluate applicants based on their age, education levels, work experience, employment offer among others.
An offer letter from a BC based organization helps one gain extra points under the SIRS. However, it’s not mandatory to have the same. Such an offer letter should be supported by LMIA (Labor Market Impact Assessment).
